SAVE PETER THE BUNNY (2015) is a web series based on the comedic trials and tribulations of making rent and the lengths unlikely roommates will go to for that extra buck. After Jimmy kidnaps Peter, his sister Krissy’s pet rabbit, he must hide his money making schemes from his roommates: Michael, his childhood best friend who puts up with his antics, and Erika, a mysterious veterinary student recently evicted from China Town.
This web series was created by Michael Nicks and written by Nicks, Mia Katherine Iverson, and Shane Minsey. Nicks, Iverson and Sheloa Nichols produced the self-funded pilot in New York with a ragtag team of NY Film and Television professionals needing to satisfy their creative itch.
